Event Recap

On March 7-8, elementary school math educators and school, district, and network leaders gathered to discuss strategies for supercharging math education in America.

Facilitated by Stacey Gershkovich, Managing Director of Sharing at the Robertson Center, and Laura Dreschel, Director of Math at Success Academies, and others, the two-day workshop focused on helping students build both the confidence and skill needed to solve any math problem that comes their way. The program explored the core components of math instruction at Success Academy, including both content and the pre-teaching prep that powers each lesson. Participants even got a chance to stretch their math brains themselves, working to see how many math problems they could complete in sixty seconds.

This workshop was part of a full calendar of programming at the Robertson Center focused on curriculum and practice, educator wellbeing, and big ideas shaping the future of schooling. For more information and to receive notices about upcoming events, sign up for our mailing list.
